The image of the show case is two enlarged eyes watching the passengers. Passing by, the viewer finds himself in a vis a vis, continually seeking a reply. But there is no picture that really glances back at you. All that you see is constructed. A construct about seeing, that pursues a construction of view. That, what is represented, is easily recognizable but the concrete information disappears. Yet authenticity is supposed to be attributed to the view of the observer: that the visible is recognized, that the figure is the content of the image. But while viewing, security begins to disappear. Confined to play between abstraction and emotion, the viewer is within the image himself, and no longer faces it from outside. He becomes part of what he observes.
